A  MESSAGE  FROM THE  HEAD  OF SCHOOL

Trinity Christian School exists to “Teach the Truth.”  At a time when the truth seems to be elusive or abstract or whatever you may want it to be, the mission of Trinity Christian is essential for our families.  Why we exist is to partner with families in a very distinctly Christian school.  Trinity Christian enjoys a long history as a Christ-centered school, and we are committed to helping today’s students prepare for life as a Jesus-follower.

What “Teaching the Truth” looks like at Trinity Christian is evident in many ways but remarkable in three areas.  Our teachers hold a Biblical worldview and prepare our students to excel at the top colleges and universities in our nation.  Secondly, our students have an opportunity to explore and enhance interest outside of the classroom with athletics, fine arts, clubs, and other activities.  Students become leaders on and off campus.  Many schools have excellence in academics and activities, but Trinity Christian separates itself by encouraging each student in his/her personal relationship with Jesus and to become a life-long Jesus-follower.  Students have daily Bible classes, weekly chapels, and opportunities to serve our community, nation, and world.

I trust perusing our website will assist in finding out more about Trinity Christian.  However, I encourage you to visit our campus to see the difference.  We are proud of Trinity’s impact on families for over 50 years and we are excited about the path God is leading us on today.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

  • We believe there is one Triune God, eternally existent in three co-equal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is eternal, almighty, infallible, unchangeable, wise, holy, and just.  He is Spirit, Light, Love, and Truth.  He has revealed Himself to us by the Bible.

  • We believe the Bible is the inerrant, inspired, infallible Word of God.

  • We believe that, by His Word, the Triune God created out of nothing the universe and all that is therein.

  • We believe God created Adam in His own image, and that man did not originate through the process of evolution.  Adam was tempted by Satan and sinned; and because of this, all men are totally depraved and unable to save themselves.

  • We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ through whom alone salvation occurs.

  • We believe salvation is the remission of sins through the work that Jesus Christ accomplished by his death, burial, and resurrection, and it is the gift of God available to all who repent and place their complete faith in Him.

  • We believe the indwelling of the Holy Spirit enables each believer to live a holy life, separate from sin, and should cause us win others to Christ.

  • We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ.

  • We believe in the resurrection of the saved and the damnation of the lost.

  • We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • We believe that God creates each person male or female. Their two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God.

  • We believe that the term "marriage" has only one meaning: The uniting of one man and one woman in single, exclusive union.

  • We believe that any form of sexual immorality (including adultery, fornication, homosexual behavior, bisexual conduct, transgenderism, and use of pornography) is sinful and offensive to God.

  • This Statement of Faith does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs.  The Bible itself, as the inspired and infallible Word of God, is the final source of all that we believe.

  • For purposes of Trinity Christian School's faith, doctrine, and practices, our Board of Directors is the school's final interpretive authority on the Bible's application.

ACREDITATION

TCS Maintains Accredited Status for over 40 years.

SAIS logo.jpg

Trinity has again been recommended unanimously for continued accreditation with the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS) in partnership with Cognia – formerly Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS)/Advanced.

A review team of five education professionals from Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee conducted a thorough review of the school in multiple areas, noting commendations and recommendations for continued school improvement and excellence.  The review, postponed from March 2020 due to COVID, was hosted on the Trinity campus March 14-16, 2021  The team met with students, parents, faculty, staff, and board members as they evaluated the overall effectiveness of the school.

Trinity Christian School was accredited initially by the Georgia Accrediting Commission in the 1977-78 school year.  TCS has been continuously accredited with this organization since that time.  In 2000, Trinity pursued and was granted accreditation with SACS and received unanimous approval for dual accreditation through SACS and SAIS in 2005, 2010, and 2015.

Trinity’s 2021 steering committee was under the capable leadership of Mrs. Allison Rogers as the committee chair.   This review confirms Trinity’s continued accreditation through 2026.
